Catering - Commonly Asked Questions

What is the occupancy of the room?
This can vary depending upon your event. We can usually seat up to 136 people. However if there is a dance floor, head table, gift tables, etc. these limit the number for seating to approximately 96-112 people. During nice weather, there is a deck off of the banquet room that can seat an additional 20+ people.

What does the room rental fee cover?
Room rental fees vary depending upon your event, how many guests you have in attendance, the day of the week and how large of a staff you need on hand. The fees cover: the set-up & clean-up of your event, table linens & napkins, tableware, & full service from our staff. All food or beverage orders are an additional fee.

What are the time frames that the room is available?
Depending upon the season, our daily hours of operation change. During spring & summer, we are open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. During fall & winter, we are open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday to Wednesday and 8:00am to 8:00pm Thursday to Saturday. Banquets can go as late as 10:00. We are Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

What are the rules on decorating & when can I do it?
Decorations are entirely up to you. All that we ask is that you do not put nails into the walls or woodwork. Candles are allowed but please make sure that ribbons, flowers, etc. are away from the flame. Any decorations or items that you bring in are your responsibility. Apple Tree will not be responsible for damaged or missing items. If there is not a scheduled event the day before your event then you may decorate the previous day. Otherwise you have the room as early as 8:00 am on your reserved day to begin decorating. During Christmas time, we have the clubhouse decorated accordingly. There are several Christmas trees, white lights, lighted garland, table decorations, etc.

How do I make a reservation?
We require a non-refundable payment of $500.00 at the time of booking. Payment of the remainder balance for the rental fee as well as food & beverage must be paid in full 24 hours prior to the event. If needed, we are happy to work out a payment plan with you.

What is the cancellation policy?
We will refund any additional payments that were made in excess of the $500.00 non-refundable deposit.

Do you have handicapped access?
We do not have access to the upstairs banquet facilities for handicapped individuals. Also, restrooms are located on the 1st floor of the clubhouse, which makes it difficult for the elderly or handicapped to use the facilities. It is your responsibility if one of your guests needs assistance up or down the stairs.

What is your policy on food & beverages?
Apple Tree will provide you with all of your catering needs. We offer several menus appropriate for any type of occasion and budget. We can also create a custom menu if you prefer. A bar option is available, with beer & wine service. This can be done in three ways. Hosted by you, purchased separately by your guests or script may be given to your guests and charged to you at the conclusion of your event. You may bring your own wine for a corking fee of $10.00 per bottle.

Other rentals or reservations to consider
Entertainment - It is your responsibility to book any entertainment and to coordinate their time including set-up & take-down of their equipment into your reserved time. As well as to let us know if they require any special arrangements such as tables, chairs, certain area of space, etc. Apple Tree does not accept any responsibility for damages incurred to equipment while on our premise.

Additional Glassware - For outdoor events Punch, beer & champagne are served in plastic-ware. If you prefer to use glassware, items can be rented from Party Palace or Party Connection. It is your responsibility to rent the items, pick-up & return them as well as to pay for any additional breakage fees. This policy also applies to mirrors, centerpieces, etc.

Permits & Security
You are not required to have a permit of any sort. Apple Tree Restaurant has the permit to sell and serve beer, hard liquor & wine on the premise. Apple Tree will require security when we deem necessary for an additional fee of $100.00. Apple Tree will provide a uniformed police officer throughout your event. The officer is there to monitor the party & the grounds to insure that your event is fun & safe.
